THE GENESIS is a personal photography project exploring the idea of creation through the human figure and its connection with nature. The series portrays Débora within an organic and surreal environment, using natural elements, textures, and sculptural forms to create a visual narrative around transformation and emergence.

The project draws on the symbolism of a genesis — the beginning of something new — presenting the body as a living element that evolves alongside its surroundings. Through experimental composition, lighting, styling, and art direction, each photograph captures a different moment within this process of transformation.

Combining conceptual photography, art direction, and visual storytelling, THE GENESIS creates an intimate and atmospheric world where the boundaries between the human figure and nature become increasingly blurred.
